Barack to blame.

Few Americans needed Standard & Poor to confirm the mismanagement of the United States government and its finances. The downgrading of American credit will raise interest rates on America’s huge debt and ultimately on all Americans. Popular polls say that most Americans blame Congress—but that’s too simplistic. As much as Barack Obama would like to shift that blame onto Congress, the fault lies squarely on the shoulders of President. It is first and foremost a leadership problem that is crippling America—and the leader is President Barack Obama—not the many members of Congress.

No matter how many speeches he makes, the conclusion is clear: Obama’s greatest failure is spending America into enormous deficits, and being clueless about how to get the economy to recover. His speeches, riddled with “I” and “We” are mostly serving to indict him for his failings. Appearing on TV more than any other sitting president, Barack Obama is constantly “explaining” why things aren’t working, when he should be working on what to do different and better.



Instead he is “campaigning,” which is the only thing he knows how to do reasonable well. But he can’t fix the economy; he has neither the experience nor the know how to do it. His failed, misguided policies have only exacerbated the size of his mistakes and shortcomings.

Obama has surrounded himself with academics, theoreticians and politicians and all of their solutions are wrong, flawed and ineffective. Don’t take my word for it. Look at the evidence. Nobody in his inner circle has meaningful business experience. He not only doesn’t understand business, he dislikes businesses; they are only useful as a way to collect taxes to redistribute.

For Barack Obama’s first 18 months, and occasionally even today, he and his loyalists try to place the lion’s share of the blame for America’s problems with George W. Bush. There is little doubt that Bush erred seriously on several counts: he initiated two expensive wars and then saw the Iraq war mismanaged for at least 2-3 years.

Then Bush failed, along with the (then) GOP led Congress to rein in spending to compensate for the cost of these wars. Finally, he reduced tax rates and created the Medicare prescription drug program (which turned out to work better and cost far less than was feared). Coincidentally, the much-maligned TARP initiated by Bush actually staved off a financial collapse and is largely being paid back by the banks and insurance companies involved. In perhaps his greatest mistake, Bush failed to veto a single spending bill sent to him by Congress.

Bush’s mistakes were clearly serious errors, but they pale in comparison with Obama’s failures since he took office. The Democratically controlled Congress was complicit with Obama’s failures. They have not submitted, and Obama has not submitted a realistic budget for the country in over 800 days—a clear failure to meet their responsibilities. (Exception: Obama’s irresponsible Feb. budget, which was voted down 97-0 by a Democratically controlled Senate.)

To chronicle Obama’s failures and his shortcomings is impossible within the length of a simple blog post. A few of them are most notable. Obama aided and abetted by Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid rammed the new health care legislation down the throat of America—and Obamacare was created. Parts of it are well-intentioned, but much of it is feared by Americans and especially small businesses. Arguably some of Obama’s greatest damage to the economy has been done by his appointees in the EPA, NLRB, CPSC, et. al., and the Justice Department. American business is oppressed by regulation. Sadly, Obama barely realizes this.

Next came the $840 billion “stimulus” package, (mostly pork and patronage), which worked poorly or not at all—unless you consider creating jobs at $275,000 each to be a good solution. Not enough “shovel-ready” projects were really “shovel-ready” Obama admitted recently, chuckling awkwardly at his naiveté. Obama and his experts (now mostly gone back to finance or academia) predicted a drop of unemployment to under 8% when the number of jobless went the other way—upward. Now, more Americans have been out of work, for longer, than any time in the past half-century.

Obamacare not only violated many of his eloquent campaign promises; e.g., Taxes on Americans earning less than $200/$250,000 per year will no increase one penny—except for the new Obamacare tax to 3.8% applied to investment income—which will hit millions of Americans. When faced with his party’s impending losses in 2008 elections, Obama dispatched Rahm Emmanuel to attempt buying-off candidates in the 2008 primaries with a promise of high-level jobs, a legally questionable practice at best, and unethical one at worst.

During Obama’s term in office the deficit has grown astronomically as he continues, even to this day, to insist on more spending and more taxes (especially those on “millionaires and billionaires” a category that most Americans earning $200-250,000 per year hardly imagine including them.)

Those who point to his achievements name “bailing out” GM & Chrysler—but many experts feel that was done by using executive power for further illegal actions, denying legal bondholders their rightful returns. There is also a strong belief that ordinary bankruptcy could well have accomplished the same result at a cost of almost $20 billion less of taxpayers’ money. But then spending too much of taxpayers money has never bothered this White House.

To make Obamacare’s outrageous financial claims, Obama & his Democratic Congressional minions desperately needed to cut its cost. Thus, buried in the 2000+-page bill, Obama and his accomplices Reid and Pelosi cut $500 billion out of Medicare. Now he pretends to worry about seniors while ignoring Medicare’s impending insolvency. After all, even if Obama could win a second term, he will be gone before Medicare fails, and be able to blame it on his successor.

Barack Obama was going to close Gitmo—until he realized that it was as unrealistic as much of his campaign rhetoric. Obama has violated the law, which requires the president to act within 15 days after the Medicare commission advises him of a financing problem. His Democratic allies gave him a waiver in his first year, but this year—he simply ignored the law.

Obama followed Bush’s foreign policy and even left most Bush appointees in charge, until recently. Obama’s vanquished primary opponent Hillary Clinton has precluded him from making as big a debacle of foreign policy as he has on domestic policy. He tried, early in his career, kowtowing to foreign dictators and despots, apologizing for America instead of protecting and defending it.


The ultimate failure of President Barack Obama is that he is unable or unwilling to lead; to define anything more than vague generalities as a solution to America’s daunting problems. Even his own allies in the GAO state, “we can’t value a speech.” In his desperation to run for reelection, Obama continues to abdicate his responsibilities. The debt ceiling was a showcase of his failings as he periodically jumped in and out of negotiations until he literally neutralized himself.



The president made himself an outsider in the decision, even as he tried to sound like a voice of reason, making speech after speech, saying less in each successive one. Senator Harry Reid and House Speaker John Boehner finally fought through massive partisan problems to reach a compromise agreement—but it was clearly too little, too late. Kicking the hard work down to a twelve person “super-committee” was not enough to settle financial markets.


While Barack Obama campaigned, making still more speeches at his 50th birthday celebrations, the Wall Street voted with its money and the Dow-Jones average dropped over 500 points and the S. & P. dropped even more—5%+. 117,000 jobs created in July don’t even approach the number needed to offset new entries to the workforce. The drop in unemployment from 9.2% to 9.1% signals more unemployed Americans giving up, not more of them being hired.



Happy Birthday Mr. President. You have accomplished something no other president has done. You’ve spent America into a hole that will take a decade to fix, and kept more Americans out of work longer than anyone in recent history, and you’ve accomplished all this in record time, only 2-1/2 years. Who knows how much harm you can do given still more time.

Why don't they just deport them when they arrive to register?
3- Last year they ran an article on the
yearly costs to California Taxpayers from
Illegals using Hospital Emergency Rooms
for their general health care -
At just one hospital the cost to taxpayers totaled over 25 million a year.
Someone please tell me what the HELL's wrong with all the people that run this country!!!!!!

We're "broke" & can't help our own Seniors, Veterans, Orphans, Homeless etc.,???????????
In the last months we have provided aid to Haiti , Chile , and Turkey . And now Pakistan ... Home of bin Laden.
Literally, BILLIONS of DOLLARS!!!

Our retired seniors living on a 'fixed income' receive no aid nor do they get any breaks while our government and religious organizations pour Hundreds of Billions of $$$$$$'s and Tons of Food to Foreign Countries!
They call Social Security and Medicare an entitlement even though most of us have been paying for it all our working lives and now when its time for us to collect, the government is running out of money.
Why did the government borrow from it in the first place?

We have hundreds of adoptable children who are shoved aside to make room for the adoption of foreign orphans.

AMERICA: a country where we have homeless without shelter, children going to bed hungry, elderly going without 'needed' meds, and mentally ill without treatment, etc., etc.
YET................... They have a 'Benefit' for the people of Haiti on 12 TV stations, ships and planes lining up with food, water, tents clothes, bedding, doctors and medical supplies.

Imagine if the *GOVERNMENT* gave 'US' the same support they give to other countries.

A bird called Bert.

I went to work one day, in early July, and Dave was outside working on one of our rental machines. There was a baby bird sitting on a flat cart. The winds were strong that day, and he kept blowing off the flat cart, so I found a small box, and put him in it. I Called my wife and she came down with a small cage, to take him home. We fed him, and it wasn't long till he had lost all his baby down, and was fully feathered. We identified him as a European Starling. We let him out of the cage and his first flights were short, and he had trouble landing, but he soon got the hang of it, and we would let him out for an hour, or so, each day. He finally started eating on his own, and we decided it was time to let him join his other feathered kin. we took him back to Home Depot, in a wooded area, and opened the cage door, but he wouldn't come out. I reached in, and he hopped on my hand, and I took him out, set him on a tree limb, and he immediately flew back to Carol's head. We tried to get him to fly off several times, and after about 45 minutes decided he really didn't want to go, so we put him back in the cage and took him back home. This has to be the cleanest bird I have ever seen. When we let him out, we put a bowl of water in the sink, and he will bathe 3 or 4 times there, plus a couple more times in his cage. Of course he has to sit on your shoulder, after a bath, and shake himself dry. Looks like he is here to stay.
About 4 years ago, my daughter rescued an adult dove that had been attacked by a cat. It's left wing was almost torn completely off, and it eventually fell off, so it was helpless. He is now adapted to being in a large cage and will tolerate being petted, but he would rather you didn't. It is so cool to hear him cooing though, kind of a peaceful sound. Thought about putting Bert in with him, but afraid they won't get along, and they may start pecking each other.

Christmas Without Daddy

I wrote this song in November, 2010. The phrase,"Christmas is supposed to be a time of good cheer", got into my head, and I got a piece of paper, and started writing. It was as if the words were coming from the air. Total time to write was about ten minutes. I sent it to a company in Nashville to have a demo made, and they did a great job. Who is B. H. Obama?

WHO IS B.H. OBAMA?

Seemingly popping up from nowhere, this man attained the highest office in the land. A community organizer from Chicago, elected to the Senate, when his opponent withdraws over dirty laundry, he spends 144 days as a Senator, gives the keynote speech at the 2006 Democratic Convention, and then is elected president in 2008. A seemingly supernatural rise to power.
But who is this man? Born in Hawaii, in 1961, to a white, American mother, and a black father, from Kenya, a British subject, at that time. In 1966 his mother leaves Hawaii and goes to Indonesia to be with her new husband, promising U.S. Officials that her son will be home schooled, but enrolling him in public school, under the name Barry Soetoro. Did his step father legally adopt him? If he did then he would have lost his American citizenship, and become an Indonesian. But all these records are sealed. He is raised in an Islamic environment, attends a Mosque, and is schooled in Islam. Somewhere around the age of 19, or 20, he travels to California and enrolls in Occidental College, as a foreign exchange student. What country issued the passport? Who paid for his trip? Unfortunately these details are sealed, including passport records, kindergarten records, Punahou school records, Occidental College records, Columbia University records, Columbia thesis, Harvard Law School records, Harvard Law Review articles, University of Chicago articles, Illinois State Bar Association records, Illinois State Senate records and schedules, medical records, Obama/Dunham marriage license, Obama/Dunham divorce documents, Soetoro/Dunham marriage license and adoption records.
. But it raises questions about how a poor bi-racial kid from Indonesia can afford to buy a ticket to California, pay tuition to a college, and probably pay for a dorm room, since he had no relatives to live with. Are there any records, that aren't sealed, showing he worked his way through college? All his records are sealed while he was attending Occidental. He then turns up at Harvard University, which is one of the most expensive colleges in the country. How does he pay for his admission, room and board, books, and everyday living expenses? His travel expenses? Plus, he has no published papers. Too many unanswered questions. He, somehow earns a law degree, travels to Chicago, works as a community organizer, meets Michelle, goes to work for her law firm, files no briefs, represents no clients on trial. He and Michelle end up surrendering their law licenses, to avoid prosecution. Also, he traveled to Pakistan, with a friend , for some time. What countries passport did he use? What was the purpose of this trip? Pakistan was on a list of the government's to avoid visiting. I'm not sure if it would have been illegal for an American to visit the country at that time.
After being elected president, he proceeded to break a lot of his campaign promises. He said his would be the most transparent presidency on record. People could watch proceedings on CSPAN. His healthcare bill was conducted behind closed doors, some states were given special treatment, for their vote, major companies, and contributors to his campaign were given waivers, and some congressmen were threatened. He is unable to speak without the use of teleprompters, even to a third grade class.
He blames everything on the previous administration, even though he was in the senate, and voted on a lot of the legislation that raised our debt to an unbelievable height, with the Democrats being in power since January of 2007. This individual is a compulsive liar, and been taped telling some whoppers. He said his father served in WWII. His father would have been around 6 years old at that time. He took an oath to defend, and protect the Constitution of The United States of America. He has proceeded to make the document redundant. Defying the laws of the land,entering a war with Libya without congressional approval, and attempting to rule by executive order.He is a follower of Marx, wants to make everyone dependent on the government, and make the wealthy poor. I believe he is nothing more than a puppet with a group, or an individual telling him what to do and say. He has spent less time in Washington than any president before him. He travels the world, golfs, and throws parties for celebrities instead of working on fixing our problems.
Who are the people behind the scenes, that are telling this puppet what to do, and say? Or, could it be that he is following a supernatural being in the form of satan? Is this the precursor to the antichrist? Will Obama be the one to turn our, once great , country into a third world nation? Or, will he turn us over to the European Union, as a member nation? Only time will tell, but the future of our country is looking bleak, and our freedom is in jeopardy because of this one individual. May God be with us.

WIN 7 EXPERIENCE 64 bit.

At 21:40 hours, last night, I was updating IE9, and when it rebooted it booted to a black screen. Tried rebooting 4 times and it failed everytime. So ends my affiliation with WIN 7, 64 bit. The disk is trashed, since it wouldn't flush with the rest of the s.... The only reason I keep XP is for games, as I don't trust ANY windows product. With tax, 7 cost $128.00, and some change. I might as well have flushed it down the toilet. Most useless fragment of fecal material I have ever seen, and I bought my first computer in 1981.

Win 7 experience.

I replaced my motherboard, and processor today. Went with an MSI mobo, 64 bit, AMD quad core, 3.0 ghz, processor, 600 watt power supply, and 16 gigs of memory. This computer has a 500 gig HD in it, and I had 5 OS's on it. PCLOS Linux, Win XP, Kubuntu, Peppermint One, and Linux Mint 10. I deleted all partitions but XP, and PCLOS. Starting the 64 bit win 7 install at 14:15 hours. It is now 19:45 hours and I'm am getting updates for this POS. Took 5 tries to install. Locked up on me 3 times, and this was going to be my last shot. Remembered why I kicked this Useless Fragment Of Fecal Material off my computer in 2001. That was the year I found Linux. Linux is SO FAR ahead of Microsoft, it isn't funny. Apparently it was having problems with my Nvidia 8400 video card. Of course windows doesn't like sharing with Linux, so the MBR only has windows on it. I will put in a live CD of PCLOS, and redo the MBR, and it will add PCLOS back to the menu. Grub will replace the NTLDR. At the first sign of problems windows will be removed, and I have a 16 pound sledge hammer that will fix it up nicely.
